Julia founded SalivIQ after watching how distressing throat swabbing is for children, and how often the rapid tests that follow it are wrong. She led the development of a saliva protocol built on next-generation qPCR and the clinical work that validated it against throat culture.
The idea behind the company is simple: if the sample is easier to give and the chemistry is more accurate, the patient and the clinician both win.
