SalivIQ joins the Southwest National Pediatric Device Consortium
SalivIQ is now a portfolio company with the SWPDC, a consortium dedicated to advancing pediatric medical devices.
A network built around children
We are pleased to share that SalivIQ is now a portfolio company with the Southwest National Pediatric Device Consortium. The SWPDC exists to move pediatric medical devices from concept to clinic, an area that has historically lagged behind adult medicine.
Strep throat is overwhelmingly a childhood illness, and children are the patients who suffer most from the throat swab. Joining a consortium organised specifically around pediatric device development puts SalivIQ alongside advisors, clinicians, and regulatory specialists who understand that population.
What this means for the programme
Consortium membership gives us access to design guidance, regulatory expertise, and clinical networks as we continue through the FDA process. It also connects SalivIQ to a community of teams solving adjacent problems in pediatric care.
